The guild charter
Terms & Conditions
The rules of engagement when you hire the forge. Short, honest, and written to be read. Last updated: 23 August 2026.
1. Who you are dealing with
Riccardo De Leo Unipessoal LDA, a Portuguese company (EU VAT PT518428605) trading as Azulevia — "we", "the guild". These terms govern the website and the services we sell: cinematic AI video production, AI-assisted software development, and the related contracts-and-compliance work. Questions: info@foundersanddragons.com.
2. Quotes & orders
Every project starts with a written brief. We reply with a sketch or plan and a fixed quote; the price is locked before production starts and does not move unless the scope does. A project begins when you accept the quote in writing and pay it in full; production starts once payment clears.
3. Delivery & revisions
Each quote states its deliverables, delivery date and the number of revision rounds included. Revisions cover adjustments within the agreed scope; new scope gets a new quote, agreed before we proceed.
4. Your materials
Where you supply materials — logos, products, scripts, faces, voices — you confirm you hold the rights to them and, for any real person's likeness or voice, that documented consent exists. We may decline material that is unlawful or lacks consent.
5. Intellectual property
On your acceptance of the deliverables, they are assigned to you — a written chain of title, not a licence buried in a tool's terms. Until acceptance, we retain ownership, and deliverables refunded under clause 8 are never assigned and may not be used. Unless we agree otherwise in the quote, we keep the right to show the finished work in our portfolio, and we retain our pre-existing tools, pipelines and know-how.
6. AI-made content
Our video work is AI-generated and human-reviewed. Deliverables include the synthetic- content labelling the EU AI Act requires, so you can publish with the disclosure duties already met.
7. Payment
Projects are paid upfront: the invoice issues with the accepted quote and is due before production starts. Work is scheduled when payment clears; until then nothing is forged — the dwarf notices immediately.
8. Acceptance & the full-refund guarantee
Every quote states the acceptance criteria: what the finished work must meet for you to accept it, agreed with you before production starts, together with the window you have to accept or to tell us what it misses. This clause is a contractual obligation, not a marketing claim — it is part of the agreement you accept with the quote, and it is enforceable as such.
If the delivered work does not meet those criteria, you receive a full refund of the fees paid for that project. Two limits, stated plainly rather than buried. First, the guarantee turns on the acceptance criteria in the quote and never on how the work performs after publication — nobody can honestly promise views or sales. Second, a refunded deliverable is never assigned to you: taking the refund ends the transaction, the rights described in clause 5 do not transfer, and the work may not be used for any purpose, in whole or in part, in any medium. You choose the film or the money, not both.
9. Warranties & liability
We deliver with professional care and to the agreed specification. Beyond what the law does not allow us to limit, our total liability for a project is capped at the fees you paid for that project, and neither side is liable for indirect or consequential loss.
10. Data
How we handle personal data — including the cookies we only set with consent — is in the Privacy Policy.
11. Law & venue
These terms are governed by Portuguese law; the courts of Portugal have jurisdiction. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence remain unaffected.
12. Changes
We may update these terms for future projects; the version you accepted with your quote is the one that governs your project.
